As well as taking care of the Accounts Receivable control, Agnes supports her colleagues in the business office and Sales. Agnes is a true horse lover and, as well as riding dressage horses, she also acts as a jury member during competitions.
Bjorn is primarily engaged in the post-processing of products, but he also performs general duties in all production departments. Bjorn’s car is nothing short of an art project, and having been an active motocross rider for years, he would now like to become a regular motorcyclist.
Demy is the Benjamin of our team. As the specialist in the welding of rubber profiles, he can often be found, together with Johnny, in the compression department. At parties, Demy transforms from a composed colleague into an unstoppable bouncing ball.
Johnny produces most of the moulded items and works chiefly in the compression department. In this photograph, we are seeing Johnny without a cap for the first time.
Kor is a Jack of all trades. In addition to his logistics duties, he often works near the machines for extrusion, rolling or cutting. Kor is the one who keeps us in good spirits at Hofland because, either knowingly or unawares, he makes his colleagues roar with laughter at least once a day.
Maikel is responsible for production and logistics within Hofland Rubber and can frequently be seen on the production floor. The optimisation of processes is also an important element in Maikel’s range of tasks. Maikel has a great affection for anything connected with Austria, and as a ‘retired’ ski instructor, he also knows all the ins and outs of après-ski.
Marty distributes the orders among his co-workers and is engaged in the manufacturing of the more complex pressed products. He is also the pre-eminent operator of our CNC cutting machines. Marty likes to get on the train and enjoys international city trips.
As a sales representative, Peter travels throughout the Netherlands to visit Hofland Rubber’s customers every day. Every year, Peter builds a complete miniature Christmas village in his house.
René was the owner of Hofland Rubber until 2021, and he is still in charge of everyday business. This means that he has a wide field of operation, including Sales, Procurement and QESH. In the early 1990s, René and his band had a hit with their song ‘Jij bent de zon’.
Wieger is exceptionally versatile in terms of production, so he can be found around all the machines. Above all, however, he is the glue specialist at Hofland Rubber, using adhesives to turn all manner of materials into end products. Wieger is also an expert when it comes to the acquisition of ‘bargains’.
Willem plays a key role in the business office, and in terms of years of employment, he is Hofland Rubber’s Nestor. He is the guy who can be deployed anywhere; solving technical rubber issues for customers, entering orders, calculating, drawing and procuring. Willem likes to attend running competitions and frequently clocks up a significant number of kilometres.
